My Story: 

At one point, I was injecting 52 units of insulin every single day.

I was overweight. Exhausted. Tired of hearing “this is just how it is now.”

I followed every rule:

  • I ate what I was told was “healthy”

  • I took the meds

  • I trusted the system

And yet, every year, I got sicker.

One day, it hit me:
If I keep doing what they tell me... I’ll never get better.

That moment led me down a different path, one built on common-sense nutrition and the belief that the body can heal if we stop attacking it three times a day with wrong food.

I Was the Walking Definition of ‘Manage Your Diabetes.’

For years, I did exactly what I was told:
Take the meds. Eat low fat. Trust the process.
And every year, I got sicker.

I was injecting 52 units of insulin a day.
My energy was shot.
I was overweight, inflamed, and one bad checkup away from disaster.
And the worst part?

They told me it was normal.

That I’d “always be diabetic.”
That I just needed more willpower.
That there was no way out, just more prescriptions and more appointments.

But they were wrong.

I reversed my Type 2 diabetes in 11 months.
No meds. No tracking. No starving.
Just real food, a real plan, and the decision to take my life back.

I lost 80 pounds
Got off every single medication
And built a way of living that works, not for 30 days, but for life

Now, I guide others through the same process, and I don’t sugarcoat it:

Why I Started Metabolic Reawakening

 I didn’t create this because I wanted to be a health coach.

I created it because no one told me this was even possible.
  • Because I had to dig through noise, nonsense, and bad advice to find the truth.
  • Because millions of people are stuck in the same cycle, and it’s not their fault.

I’m here to be the guide I wish I’d had, someone who actually lived it, who gets it, and who won’t let you slip through the cracks.
